Community Monitor Agreement

This agreement defines expectations, responsibilities, authority, and security requirements for Community Monitors.

Monitor Responsibilities

Unacceptable behavior includes spam, harassment, hate speech, threats, repeated self-promotion, or intentional disruption.

Unacceptable Behavior Acknowledgment

Monitors are authorized to remove content, timeout users, or block users when necessary and may act immediately in cases involving safety or severe disruption.

Moderator Authority Acknowledgment

All moderators must maintain Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on any account used for moderation (YouTube and/or Facebook). Moderator access may be revoked if 2FA is disabled.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Confirmation

Monitors should not engage in arguments, abuse moderation tools, share access, or speak on behalf of Throttle & Iron outside moderation duties.

Moderator Boundaries Acknowledgment
Monitors should escalate serious or unclear situations to Throttle & Iron leadership rather than engaging directly.

Throttle & Iron may revoke moderator access at any time if guidelines are not followed or access is no longer needed.
